As salaamu alaykum,
In the description it describes the scholarship as a regional scholarship for the D.C. Metro area but in the requirements there is no mention of this, Can you apply if you live outside of the D.C. area? Thank you and it is a wonderful opportunity May Allah reward the effort and generosity.

Asalamu alaikum,
Sorry, at this time the scholarship is only regional. InshaAllah, one day we’ll also have a national scholarship.

Is this scholarship application open only to applicants from the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area? I’m from California and wanted to know if I am eligible to apply.

I am from California, but still meet the rest of the requirements. Am I eligible to apply?

As-Salaamu-Alaikum,
My question is similar to the other questions, but is a little more nuanced. I live and reside in Washington, DC with my husband (who is a legal resident of DC and attends Howard University). But during the school years, I am away attending college in upstate NY. Am I eligible to apply?
Thank you,
Zahrah
